Dear Gigolo Joe: I've had a roommate for a long time, and the one thing that keeps bothering me about him is the fridge. We really are at a loss for how to divide space in it. And a lot of times, I find my food gone or partially eaten because my roomie loves to eat (to say it nicely).

Bozos rain on gay pride parade

The Daily Illini, University of Illinois, IL

1 day ago by Scott Nathan Green

At Chicago's gay pride parade Sunday afternoon, I saw an outlandish collection of freaks and degenerates, out and proud for something inherently shameful. I'm talking about the protestors.

Near the end of the parade's route on the corner of Pine Grove and Diversey, wooden riot-control barricades and a few disinterested-looking cops surrounded about 20 or 30 fundamentalist Christians.

Western Courier, Western Illinois University, IL

QUINCY (AP) - As floodwaters slowly recede in some Illinois counties along the Mississippi River, they can't move fast enough for officials keeping a weary eye on damaged crops and strained levees.

No homes or businesses had been lost by Tuesday along the 54-mile Sny levee south of Quincy, but seepage damaged already-planted crops and has kept farmers from planting more, officials said.

'Wall-E' yet another Pixar success

Western Courier, Western Illinois University, IL

2 days ago by Ed Komenda

It would be completely wrong to say that Pixar Animation Studios has done it again with their latest flick "Wall-E." It still wouldn't be enough to describe the film as a milestone that completely transcends any animated reel of the past. Words are often a good weapon.
