Tomorrow's column better lack generalities, Maltby
I was disappointed and somewhat disgusted by Tuesday columnist Anna Maltby's column in The Daily on Tuesday regarding Greek life on campus ("On Greeks, Italians and a hangover," Oct. 2).
The author admits in the very first paragraph that she has no affiliation with and little-to-no knowledge of the Greek system. However, she then goes on to denigrate Greek life, going so far as to lambast fraternity brothers for stereotyping, while at the same time judging the Greek system on the basis of one BYOB dinner!
Practice what you preach, Miss Maltby. I invite you to attend a Sunday night dinner at one of the many fine fraternities on campus and experience Greek life firsthand. Until then, don't judge a book by its cover.
